DRAFT ROUTE and SCHEDULE The trip commenced on Friday, 8th April, 2005, with an appropriate send-off from Llangollen with Civic Dignitaries in attendance and came to an end just before 7.00 pm on Thursday, 19th May. Llangollen is the nearest that we could get our narrowboat to the major feed for the Canal system - the Horseshoe Falls on the River Dee. We needed to have the cylinder head skimmed , and fit a new cylinder head gasket and a con-rod. The journey recommenced on Friday morning (29th April) and we hope to be able to return to schedule to depart Apsley Marina on the morning of 4th May. Our apologies are extended to all who are inconvenienced by this breakdown.
